Physical activity, but not overwork, always helps to reduce pressure
The doctor told how to reduce blood pressure without drugs
Stress, sitting in front of a TV or computer for a long time leads to an increase in pressure. Doctor of Medical Sciences Roman Gorenkov spoke about this in an interview with Sputnik radio.
"Physical activity, but not overwork, always helps to reduce pressure," the doctor said.
He added that on average a middle-aged person should walk at least 10,000 steps a day, that is, eight and a half kilometers.
At the same time, the expert clarified that people whose blood pressure does not rise regularly should either take a pill or go outside for a walk.
Among other things, weight loss as a result of reduced food intake leads to a drop in blood pressure. Dropping every five kilograms of weight can lead to a decrease in blood pressure by ten millimeters of mercury, Gorenkov noted.
Previously, doctors told how not to confuse pain in the heart with another pathology. Therapist, cardiologist Azizkhon Askarov explained that it could be gastric ulcer, problems with the pancreas, diaphragmatic hernia of the esophagus, somatogenic neuroses and depression, diseases of the mammary gland and chest injuries.
In addition, chest pain may be associated with pulmonary embolism, added physician Maria Rudnitskaya. It is manifested by sudden shortness of breath, hemoptysis, lowering blood pressure, loss of consciousness, severe weakness and rapid heartbeat. The therapist warned that this condition requires urgent hospitalization.
