Planned outpatient care in polyclinics is suspended in state medical institutions of the Vladimir region due to "omicron"

The chief sanitary doctor of the Vladimir region, Tatyana Danilova, signed the decree amid the spread of a new strain of the omicron coronavirus and a general deterioration in the epidemiological situation. By this decree, from January 26, until further notice, preventive medical examinations and medical examinations of working and non-working citizens, as well as full-time students and children, are suspended.

In addition, Rospotrebnadzor recommends that the Department of Health of the Vladimir Region and heads of medical organizations of all forms of ownership introduce a temporary ban on planned outpatient care for the adult population. The only exceptions are patients with diseases and conditions in which a delay in the provision of medical care may lead to a deterioration in their condition, a threat to life and health.

The decision of Rospotrebnadzor does not suspend the provision of medical care in private or departmental clinics where there is no assigned population. Dentistry, antenatal clinics and medical institutions conducting preventive examinations will continue to operate as before.
