Economic cooperation between Russia and Japan

Based on the "Eight Point Cooperation Plan" proposed by former Prime Minister Abe to President Vladimir in 2016, economic cooperation between Russia and Japan is being carried out.

Medicine plays an important role in this plan of cooperation. This joint project is being implemented with the aim of increasing the life expectancy of Russians, which will have a beneficial effect on the development of medicine both in Japan and in Russia.

This year, Marubeni was selected by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare of Japan as the executor of the "Cooperation in Health Promotion and Preventive Medicine (Far East)" project.

Marubeni subsequently commissioned the Kameda Medical Center and the Kyushu University Hospital to conduct seminars on medical check-ups. The Kameda Medical Center was the first in Japan to receive the international JCI standard; it manages three diagnostic centers in Tokyo. The Kyushu University Clinic provides training and telemedicine services for foreign doctors from different countries, incl. From Russia.

By holding this event, the Marubeni Company intends to contribute to the development of medical services in the Far East.

Kyushu University Hospital employs many foreign doctors as trainees and operates all over the world. At this training, hospital doctors will present reports on the areas of Hepatology, Hypertension, Lung Cancer – topics that are of interest to Russian doctors.

The strength of the Japanese medical examination is its functionality. Kameda Medical Center will share its experience in staff training, laboratory research, diagnostic imaging, patient care for an effective and efficient medical examination.
