Rosstat published the first data of the All-Russian population census. According to preliminary data, 174 million people are currently living in Russia.

This was announced by the head of Rosstat Pavel Malkov. The final value of the population can be adjusted by 0.2-0.3% (at 400-500 thousand people) in a large or smaller side.

The final data will be known in May.
