New rules for medical examinations for minors have been approved.

It was decided to abandon preliminary examinations upon admission to an educational institution and periodic examinations in the learning process.

Saved only preventive examinations. They are carried out, as before, for the purpose of early (timely) detection of pathological conditions, diseases and risk factors for their development, as well as for the formation of health status groups and recommendations. Another goal is envisaged – early detection of non-medical use of drugs and psychotropic substances.

On the day of the examination, a referral and informed consent must be submitted. Previously, a CHI policy was required.

It has been established that the results of lung fluorography (radiography (fluoroscopy), computed tomography of the chest organs) are taken into account when conducting professional examinations, if their prescription does not exceed 12 months.

It is prescribed how a physical examination is completed when a child (his parent, legal representative) refuses to undergo one or more medical interventions.

The term for conducting the first stage of a professional examination has been increased to 20 working days (previously this period was twice as short).

Information about the results of the medical examination is sent to the medical staff of the educational organization where the child is studying.

The list of examinations during inspections has been updated.

So, children at the age of 1 month need an examination by a pediatric dentist, ultrasound of the kidneys. General blood and urine tests are given at 2 months, and not at 3 months. Repeat tests at 12 months. You don't need an examination by a neurologist at 3 and 6 months. At 6 months, you do not need to visit a pediatric surgeon, at 12 months – a pediatric dentist, ophthalmologist, child psychiatrist, but at 1 year you need an examination by an orthopedic traumatologist. The study of blood glucose levels was excluded.

There will be no more checkups for children aged 1 year 9 months and 2 years 6 months.

The list of specialists who need to be examined at the age of 6 has been significantly increased, as well as the number of studies for this age. But the list for 7-year-old children has been reduced.

Schoolchildren aged 12 will not be examined by an obstetrician-gynecologist and a pediatric urologist-andrologist.

A pediatric dentist conducts annual checkups from the age of 2.

Forms of a card for preventive medical examination of a minor and statistical information about such examinations have been established. It is written how to fill them.

The former procedure for passing medical examinations by minors, including when entering educational institutions and during the period of study in them, is no longer valid.

The order comes into force on January 1, 2018.
