Olympiad "I am a professional"

“I am a professional” is one of the flagship projects of the presidential platform “Russia is a country of opportunities”. In the V season, participants will be able to try their hand at one or several of 72 directions at once. Directions are combined into 9 thematic groups:

weapons and military equipment,

arts and humanities,

medicine and healthcare,

· engineering sciences and technologies.

St. Petersburg State University organizes competitions in linguistics and geography, which were not previously included in the list of areas of the Olympiad,
and also conducts two already traditional areas: "Philology" and "Jurisprudence". The number registered on them last year amounted to more than
13,000 and 16,000 respectively. Leading Russian universities act as co-organizers in these areas.

Students enrolled in bachelor's, specialist's or master's programs can take part in the new season of the Olympiad. Diploma winners of the Olympiad can claim advantages when entering the country's leading universities for master's, postgraduate and residency programs, get the opportunity to undergo an internship in a large specialized company. The strongest participants of the Olympiad – bronze, silver and gold medalists – will also receive cash prizes from 100 to 300 thousand rubles.

In order to ensure the practical component of the Olympiad tasks, St Petersburg University involves representatives of leading companies in the development of tasks–industry leaders and academic partners, including the Russian Geographical Society, Geoscan Group of Companies, the Institute of Linguistic Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Russian Literature (Pushkin House) of the Russian Academy of Sciences, EF Education First, Storytel, Prosveshchenie Group of Companies, the VersusLegal law firm, the Notary Chamber of St. Petersburg and others.

Registration for the Olympics ends December 7, 2021.

The qualifying round will take place with 10 to 26 December 2021.

All-Russian Student Olympiad "I — professional" — one of the largest student competitions in the country. Objective of the project — support for talented students of various specialties, which will allow them to continue their studies at a leading university in the country or start a career in a large company.

The organizers of the Olympiad are: Association of Organizers of Student Olympiads "I — professional”, ANO “Russia — country of opportunities”, All-Russian Association of Employers “Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs”, leading Russian universities and employers.
