Medical Internship in Japan

From July 17 to July 31, 2011, within the framework of the Presidential Management Training Program, an internship was held on the topic "Modernization of medical technologies and services" in Japan, in Tokyo for healthcare professionals in Siberia and the Far East.

In May 2012, they took part in competitions-selections in the cities: Khabarovsk, Vladivostok and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, after which a group of medical trainees was composed of 20 people. The Omsk region and the BUZOO "KKVD" were represented by the Deputy Chief Physician for General Affairs E.K. Medvedchikov.

The grand opening and closing of the internship were held at the Japanese Foreign Ministry. During the internship, they got acquainted with the health insurance system, the main problems, and the development goals of healthcare in Japan; visited manufacturers of medical equipment and medical organizations in the Land of the Rising Sun. At the end, everyone was solemnly awarded a certificate of completion of the internship.
