Regenerative biomedicine is a new science area that studies updating and regeneration processes in order to restore tissues and human organs lost due to diseases and injuries or not formed during the development of the body.

In Russia, regenerative medicine is recognized as a priority direction for the development of science. In 2017, the force entered into a federal law regulating the production and application of products for gene and cell therapy at all stages, ranging from preclinical studies and ending with their use in patients

To work in this new and actively developing scientific field, a new class of specialists with an appropriate set of competencies are needed. Preparation of such specialists is the purpose of this master's program.

About the program

Interfaculty Master Program "Regenerative Biomedicine" is implemented jointly by the Faculty of Fundamental Medicine and the Biological Faculty of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov. The industrial partner of the magistracy is the company Genesis

The Master's program covers all aspects of regenerative biomedicine – from its fundamental foundations actively studied in embryology, cell biology and physiology, to applied security issues, appropriate quality of drugs and organizing clinical studies.

The program is aimed at preparing high-class wide profile professionals capable of using fundamental knowledge to develop and implement regenerative biomedicine methods.

The program is addressed to listeners with basic training in the form of higher education in the field of: medicine, chemistry, biology, veterinary medicine, pharmacy, as well as related directions.

The magistracy gives the necessary level of training for specialists planning to work in the field of regenerative medicine, biology of regenerative processes, as well as the development and production of products for gene and cell therapy.

Acceptance of documents for the master's program begins on June 20, 2021 and ends on July 20, 2021.

Documents can be submitted in person to the admissions office, in the electronic system of Moscow State University Webanketa, through postal operators.

List of required documents

1. Personal statement.

2.Copies certifying identity and citizenship documents.

3. Original or copy of a document confirming higher education and qualifications.

If the document was received in a foreign country, an original or a copy of the certificate of recognition of foreign education issued by the Federal Service for Supervision in the Sector of Education and Science by the Federal Budgetary Institution "Chief State Expert Center for Education Evaluation" ("Head Expert Center" www.nic.gov.ru) or a personal application for the recognition of the formation of the appropriate level obtained by it.

4. Insurance certificate of compulsory pension insurance (if available).

5. Two photos of 3×4 cm in size, black and white or colored without a headdress, matte, made in 2021.

After receiving documents, applicants hand over an exam on regenerative biomedicine in writing. The program can be found on the CPC website.

After summing up the exam, applicants that have passed on the competition for the program "Regenerative biomedicine" can apply for the consent to enroll in the faculty committee and conclude a contract for the provision of paid services. After payment of training for the first semester, an orders for enrollment is published.
