MOSCOW, November 7 – In the suburbs. The fifth forum "Medicine and Orthodoxy" will be held at the Government House of the Moscow Region in Krasnogorsk on November 13, the press service of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Moscow Region Olga Zabralova said.

“On November 13, the Medicine and Orthodoxy forum will be held at the Government House of the Moscow Region, traditionally organized by the regional government and the Moscow Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church. Medical workers of healthcare institutions, representatives of medical educational institutions and clergy of the Moscow diocese will take part in its work, ”the press service quotes Zabralova as saying.

According to her, the forum will discuss issues of liturgical and volunteer activities in medical institutions, prevention of abortion, drug addiction and alcoholism.

“As a result of the forum, it is planned to sign an agreement between the government of the Moscow region and the Moscow diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church on mutual cooperation in the field of healthcare,” the deputy prime minister emphasized.
