Who We Are

In order to meet the needs of our working parents, the Portland French School offers a wide variety of extracurricular activities to children 2 ½ through 10 years of age.

The AFCA program runs throughout our academic school year every afternoon from class dismissal to 6:00 P.M. It is a structured time that allows for reading, school work, relaxation, games and socialization with peers.

Story time, games and crafts are also a part of the curriculum. A simple, nutritious snack is provided daily and parents are also encouraged to pack extra food on the days that their child attends aftercare.
Optional classes are also offered, including but not limited to Chinese, Piano, Guitar, Violin, Art, Gym and dance.

During the Fall (October) and Winter Break (February), the school offers workshops centered around a particular theme..

We also offer Summer Camps for children ages 2 ½ through 10 years of age. Children with no prior experience will be initiated to French through everyday activities. They will use games to begin to communicate in a new language. Every week explores a new theme with hands-on and interactive projects.
